This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Made with mashing a few samples together. Realistically, it should sound like a metal can hitting the ground. But i used it for throwing a can at the ground (before impact), which works too. Please comment where you used it! <3.

A gunshot sound effect recorded for a high school production of the musical heathers. It was recorded on a zoom h1 and was made by a theatrical cap gun. I recorded it at a distance of about 5 feet and then again at a distance of about 40 feet from the audience and allowed the sound to reverberate both times. Then i duplicated both and mixed in both original sounds on top of each other, plus each sound pitched down 1 octave and the 40-feet away recording at 2 octaves down, plus the closer recording pitched one octave up. We then added and adjusted reverb in audacity and adjusted the sync of all the clips to be aligned, and adjusted the mix to make it sound as real as possible.

Random bass hits. I made a bunch of these and only ended up using two. So i figured people on here might put them to better use. No need to credit me but i wouldn't mind hearing what you make with it.

A simple beat. I have shaped this kick myself in the modular synth. The high-hat is from barton musical circuits decaying analog noise (bmc23). The other sound is a small sample. . . Analog delay on that sample.

Nice trick working with doepfer a-101-1 vactrol vcf. Noise to lp in. Gate to cvf in 1 out straight to mixer. Low frequency. High emph. Lp 0, bp about 5 and hp 0. Added a bass and my sampled voice. . .

Here's audio of an actual eas "immediate evacuation" alert sent via the cap protocol, which is eas via internet, which then activates radio and tv stations ( in the usa)this particular alert was due to wildfires enchroaching on the town of silverthorne, colorado.

I recorded my raw kick drum with a shure vocal mic and then gave it a bass boost using audacity. Not too bad considering the equipment used. It is a kick drum 22" with an evans emad 2 head, a pillow inside, and a medium quality pdp drumset.
